Handmade sterling silver finger ring.

Forged from a piece of sterling silver wire and twisted by hand.

The wire starts out at 2.5mm thick and the ends are drawn out using fire and a hammer.
The silver is then wrapped around itself to form the spiral on the front of the ring.
This technique is widely known from the viking age.
