This beautiful piece is made by weaving 8 pieces of silver wire together.
When the weaving process is complete the ends are heated and hammered several times to bind the wire and flattened so they can be shaped into the hook and ring clasp.
We then add some individual detail in the form of decorative stamps.
This neck ring is heavily based on a piece found at Halton Moor in England.
This one weighs around 90 grams and has a circumference of 51cms (20 inches).
