Birka Style Tortoise Brooches.

Our Tortoise brooches are closely based on a find from Birka, Sweden.

They come from Grave No.632

These are double shell brooches which are held together with the integral domed rivets.

This pair is cast in bronze and has silver wire inlaid and running from each dome to the next.

The weight is around 140grams each.

Measurements are 90mm long, 60mm wide and 30mm high.

Handmade in our workshop by us.
