A Close copy of a belt from the Gokstad Ship burial, Vestfold, Norway.
This burial took place in the 9th century.
I have made the belt at two thirds the scale of the original.
My version is 25 mm (roughly 1 inch) wide.
This example is cast in Bronze and ready to wear.
