Sterling Silvering Money Bracelet
A beautiful piece of history around your wrist
This armring is inspired by a few different finds from the Viking age, the most notable being the money bracelet from Skiall in the Orkney Islands although it was an open bracelet.
The originals were used as currency and could be chopped up depending on the weight needed.
I have went a little further with this and closed it to make a complete hoop.
Inside diameter is around 77 mm (just over 3 inches) so it can be worn as a display piece outside your tunic
This bracelet weighs in at 57 grams (2 oz).
Handmade in our workshop in Northern Ireland.
